Description
The four girls are introduced in relation to their walking ability. In each following sequence 3 or all the girls are shown doing a variety of exercises and tests. The next sequence shows the girls... picking up and being offered bricks. The girls are shown trying to use a spoon to eat with varying success. The idea of using a tool is shown with the children using a piece of string to pull a toy. The children's grasp of the concept of cause and effect is tested by seeing how they relate to having a ball of wool dangled in front of them. The next test involves seeing how the girls cope with opening a small metal tin. The girls are shown an object which is then hidden to test how far they can find it again.
