Film shots of experimental houses under construction at the Building Research Establishment. Trueman looks at the solar house and points out some of the advantages and disadvantages of solar heating. He goes on to examine a single solar panel and explains how this works. Trueman points out some of the pitfalls of installing solar panels in the roof of a house.
