Highlighting and writing out large chunks of text verbatim and copying diagrams are familiar note-taking actions, but are they the best use of time and resource? In this session Suzanne talks about... identifying important aspects of text and non-text and we discuss how effective note-taking enables us to translate material into a meaningful context. This session is also used in (re)Fresher's and Orientation [2018] and (re) Orientation Induction [2019].
