This session will challenge your preconceptions of what economics is about and show how economics is part of everyday life, from clothes to hi-tech gadgets, and even to the basic necessities of lif...e.  OU economists will show how economics can be used to understand the real-world and talk to you about the economics behind everyday objects.  The session will give a taste of some economic concepts you will learn about in the new BA (Hons) Economics degree. There will be an introduction to the new economics level one modules DB125 You and your money and DD126 Economics in context.
