‘We do not learn from experience … we learn from reflecting on experience’ – John Dewey Reflection is mentioned throughout the Access modules and in most of the learning that you will do a...t the OU. This session goes back to basics and covers the following topics: * What do we mean when we talk about reflection? How do you define it? * Why is it important for all learners? Is it only relevant in some subjects? * What have we learnt from reflection? The panel talk about what they have learnt from their reflection. We will also consider the intention of reflection questions and how they can help learning.
