Cultural and organisational change in higher education

We have sought to combine research and practice through this work through the concept of engaged research, a principled approach to co-constructing ‘publics’ (stakeholders, end-users and members of the public) to work reflexively in meaningful ways to generate, reflect on and evidence social and economic impacts.

  • Exploring inclusive research approaches in supporting people with learning disabilities to engage meaningfully with citizen science (Jess Carr).

Supporting students with dyslexia: an academic’s perspective

10% of the population are dyslexic. My name is Dr Anne Jay, and I am dyslexic. Dyslexia brings challenges that have a considerable impact on OU student success. A key struggle for people with dyslexia is written communication.
