Working with colleges in Wales

We’re proud of the relationship we have with the 12 further education colleges in Wales. Thanks to the way we teach, we’re everyone’s local university.

If you’re a college student, we can help you take your first steps toward a degree through starting an undergraduate degree or topping up your study.

How we work with colleges

We offer continued support from levels three to five for college students and staff, which we align to what their departments need. Alongside this, we’ve produced resources with, and for, students including wellbeing assets, workshops and master classes.

We can also help college staff with their professional development, whether it’s bite sized learning or formal degrees.

Collaboration

Working with other organisations is central to what we do. We’ve partnered with colleges across Wales on several projects, including:

progression pathways with Cardiff and Vale and Gower colleges
professional development programmes with Grŵp Llandrillo Menai, Gower and Cardiff and Vale colleges
our National Enrichment Programme which uses OpenLearn content and workshops with guest speakers to add value to the curriculum.
