Description
David Smyth attended school in Belfast left with seven O levels and two A Levels and started a third level course in higher education before his imprisonment in Long Kesh (the Compounds of the Maze and Long Kesh Prison) in 1977. He started his Open University degree in Psychology in 1980 and graduated in 1989. David gained certificates in Football Coaching and as a Fitness Instructor as well as studying for O and A Levels. He was released in 1989 and studied for a Master’s Degree in Computer Science a Diploma in Social Work and a Diploma in Criminal Justice Management at Queen’s University Belfast.
