William Henry Giles Kingston was an English writer of adventure novels for boys. He also produced translations of several of Jules Verne's novels from French into English which were published by Sampson Low. They were published under his name but were in fact translated by his wife Agnes Kinloch Kingston (1824-1913) which was a fact generally known at the time.
