This film presents an educational profile of Keighley in West Yorkshire, through the personal perspectives and reminiscences of the towns-people. It is a collage of impressions gathered at the Gala. It includes the views of childminders, working mothers, a primary school head, the Asian community, views on discipline and strictness, on standards and opportunities, school and work, changes in employment, apprenticeship, youth training schemes and retraining, further education and community education ..... in other words, education for life from babes in arms to old age pensioners.
