Footage description: Jones describes how 2 year old children are beginning to exert their will and explains how this programme will show parents' reactions in particular examples. In each instance a series of stills or cartoons introduce the example and then the various families give their reaction. The first deals with potty training and differing approaches. How to cope when a child has wet itself in a public place. What to do when the child plays up over eating its supper. How to avoid a child spreading his sticky fingers all over everything. Whether or not to discourage children from playing with water. Should a parent be angry if a boy or girl plays with mummy's make up. How to react to children playing with their own faeces. How to cope with a child who may be stuck at the top of a climbing frame. How to react if your child pulls up your own flowers, someone else's, or flowers in the park.
