Description
There's been a revolution in childhood, but is it really in crisis? In February 2007 our society was rocked by a UNICEF report on the well-being of children in the UK, the first in a spate of descr...iptions about the so-called dire state of Britain's children. Out of 21 developed countries, our children came out the worst, even though Britain is the fifth wealthiest country in the world. This programme, drawing on themes from 'Child of our time' series 8, takes the form of a debate and asks whether this survey is a true reflection of the lives of our children, and, if so, what should we do about it?
