Improving your experience accessing online resources


How do I attend?

Go to Improving your experience accessing online resources and select 'Join Room'. The room remains closed until the trainer has entered – this will usually be 15 minutes before the start time.

Benefits

This 1 hour session will introduce you to various way to improve your experience of online resources. You will learn about the different available file formats, and some of the tools you can use to improve their accessibility.

Who is it for?

This session is open to all but is most relevant to students who may experience difficulties in reading some full-text formats and would like to learn more about accessible formats.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the session you should:

  • be aware of the different full-text formats used by library resources and the accessibility of each
  • be aware of some of the adjustments available to improve accessibility
  • know how to access SensusAccess to convert material into different formats and when it can be used.
