Paying for your studies

Salaried route – the Welsh government will pay the course fee.

Part-time route – everything about studying with us is flexible, including payment options.

More than 65% of students studying with us in Wales take out a tuition fee loan to fund their studies. Find out more about Part-Time Tuition Fee Loans.

You can pay us directly using your debit or credit card when you enrol on each module. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron and American Express. Find out more about paying by credit or debit card.

You could spread the cost with monthly payments through an Open University Student Budget Account (OUSBA). OUSBA pays your fees to us, and you repay OUSBA either in a single sum or in monthly instalments. Find out more about OUSBA.

There are other ways you could pay for your studies too: if you work, you might be able to secure funding from your employer. Find out more about employer sponsorship.
