Education and Engagement

At AstrobiologyOU we believe in enabling a wide range of people to engage with astrobiology research and innovation. Science is for everyone, and everyone should have an opportunity to learn and to actively participate. We therefore aim to promote and increase awareness and interest in astrobiology in an inclusive way across different sectors, including schools and members of the general public, as well as people within the space sector, policy makers and researchers.

We are developing educational materials for various audiences across the breadth of our academic activities at AstrobiologyOU, including astrobiology science and innovation, and ethical and governance challenges. Our Education activities draw on our research, knowledge exchange and teaching expertise across a range of disciplines at the Open University.
