Students with a disability

Students who have a long-term health condition, specific learning difficulty (such as dyslexia) or mental health difficulty are entitled to additional support. Please note, The Open University uses the single term ‘disabled’ or ‘disability’ to cover all of these conditions.

Please complete a Disability Support Form, and return it to your regional SiSE support team who will arrange for a Disability Support Adviser to contact you and discuss the available support for your student(s).

Disabled students can also request special arrangements when it comes to taking their exams.
