The Global Tipping Points Report, the most comprehensive assessment of tipping points, has been published.

The report was produced by an international team of more than 200 researchers including Ivan Sudakow and Pallavi Anand from the OU, coordinated by the University of Exeter, in partnership with the Bezos Earth Fund.

The report suggests that humanity is currently on a perilous path, with the future of billions hinging on the pace of fossil fuel phase-out and the adoption of zero-carbon solutions. Criticizing the inadequacy of current global governance, the report puts forth six key recommendations for urgent course correction, emphasizing the need for coordinated action to trigger positive tipping points.
