The Social Policy and Criminology discipline has longstanding interests in critical interdisciplinary scholarship in this field. Our substantive areas of interest include:
- intimate relationships, organisations and social institutions as sites of gendered violence, abuse and harm
- domestic homicide and gender in policing
- gendered relations of health and social welfare
- resistance, agency and activism of women, victim-survivors, non-binary and transgender individuals, lesbian, bisexual and queer women
- gender ‘justice in health and social welfare', criminal justice, support services, social movements and transformative justice.
These all warmly welcome Postgraduate Student participation.
