The Open University offers a select number of students the opportunity for a full fee waiver scholarship to study for an MA in Creative Writing.

Three scholarships are available in 2026/27. A scholarship will cover the full tuition cost of your qualification, up to 180 credits in total.

To be eligible for the scholarship, you’ll need to meet all the following criteria:

We are now open for applications for the 2026/27 academic year. To apply, you’ll need to download the full scholarship terms and conditions and the scholarship application form.

Once completed, email your application and supporting evidence to our Student Fees team. You’ll find their contact details on the first page of the application form.

Applications close at midday on 29 July 2026. We’ll email you by 14 August 2026 to confirm if you’re successful.
