The Philosophy discipline welcomes applications for graduate work in the field of philosophy of science, including philosophy of biology and medicine. Cristina Chimisso has interests in philosophy of science and the history of philosophy of science. Azita Chellappoo has interests in the philosophy of biology and medicine, as well as feminist philosophy of science. Applicants are advised to consult their individual pages to discover their particular research interests.
Research and research students are at the heart of the discipline. In joining us, you would join a lively and friendly graduate community. The discipline hosts papers by visiting speakers throughout the year, and an annual graduate conference at which students give papers on their work in progress.
Entry requirements
MA undergraduate degree (or equivalent). If you are not a UK citizen, you may need to prove your knowledge of English.
