Our undergraduate study courses aim to give a solid grounding in the fundamental concepts of pure mathematics, applied mathematics and/or statistics, and to deepen understanding of how those concepts can be widely applied. There are also study options in data science, mathematics education and theoretical physics.
All our students are fully supported in their studies and guided in their choice of modules depending on their needs and aspirations. We specialise in helping students who haven't studied for a long time, including those without a relevant school-level qualification, and students who have any form of health concern or special needs.
Students can sign up for a degree and choose whether to study full-time (taking 3 years minimum) or over a longer period (up to 16 years) to fit around other commitments, such as work or family. There are also options to study shorter diplomas and certificates, or even just an individual module.
