Accessibility Statement for Fundamentals of accounting (B124)

Mode of study

This module consists of both printed and online material. The online materials is composed of pages of text with images, audio and video clips (with accompanying transcripts), diagrams, animations and multiple choice self-assessed iCMAs. Online material also includes links to external resources, online forums and online tutorial rooms. The printed material consists of eight books.

Tuition strategy

The module includes online tutorials. Although not compulsory, attendance at tutorials will help you consolidate your learning.

Diagrams and other visual content

The study materials contain some diagrams and graphs. Reading and interpreting these is an important part of the study of this module but is not assessed. Figure descriptions are provided for all figures.

Finding information

You may be required to search for, and make use of, third party material online but this is not assessed.

Assessment

This module has Tutor-Marked Assignments (TMAs), which must be submitted online via the OU electronic TMA system, Interactive Computer- Marked Assignments (iCMAs) completed online and an Exam.

You will receive feedback from your tutor on your submitted Tutor-Marked Assignments (TMAs). This will help you to reflect on your TMA performance. You should refer to it to help you prepare for your next assignment.
