Funding options for students in Northern Ireland
We know there’s a lot to consider when choosing to study, not least how much it’s going to cost and how you can pay. That’s why we keep our fees as low as possible and offer a wide range of flexible payment and funding options, helping to support you while you work hard towards your new future.
Tuition Fee Grant
If your annual household income is under £25k and depending on your study intensity, you could get up to £1,230 funding towards your tuition fees. This is a non-repayable grant that is available to some students and may reduce the amount of Tuition Fee Loan you need to borrow.
Course Grant
This is a non-repayable grant of up to £265 that’s paid directly to you. It’s also based on your household income. You will automatically be assessed for this when you apply for a Fee Grant.
Tuition Fee Loan
This is a repayable, non-income assessed loan of up to £3,206.25 to help cover the cost of all or some of the Tuition Fees.
