Music at The Open University invites you to explore musical ideas, history and practice in a way that fits around your life. You’ll study how music works through theory, analysis, creativity and context, and engage with performance, composition or music technology. Through flexible, supported learning, you’ll build skills in critical listening, creative thinking and musical communication, preparing you for roles in the arts, education, creative industries or further study in music.
