Postgraduate Diploma in Technology Management

: Course code: E08

This postgraduate diploma will help you manage technology and innovation more effectively and realise its potential benefits. You’ll focus on the strategic and operational aspects of managing technological innovation and change and engage with a range of capabilities key to developing and delivering technological innovation – applying your learning as you study. Choose option modules from business management, computing and IT, engineering, environmental management and systems thinking. You can achieve the MSc in Technology Management with a further 60 credits.

Credit transfer

If you have already completed some successful study at postgraduate level at another institution you may be able to transfer credit for this study and count it towards this Open University qualification. If you wish to apply to transfer credit you must do so as soon as possible as it may affect your choice of OU modules. If you are awarded credit for study completed elsewhere, you may find that you need to study fewer OU modules to complete your qualification with us.

On completion

On successfully completing this course, we’ll award you our Postgraduate Diploma in Technology Management. You’ll be entitled to use the letters PGD TM (Open) after your name.

You can progress from this Postgraduate Diploma in Technology Management to our MSc in Technology Management (F36).
