We have the most popular undergraduate law programme in the UK – our law degree is approved by legal professional bodies, and our law courses have been praised by senior judges, eminent lawyers and internationally acclaimed legal academics.
Whatever your aims are (a career as a solicitor, barrister, paralegal, Crown Prosecution Service caseworker, teacher, court reporter or patent attorney) we can help.
You’ll have the flexibility to tailor your study to gain a law degree as an academic degree, a degree which includes the seven Foundations of Legal Knowledge to become a barrister in England and Wales, a solicitor or barrister in Northern Ireland, or progress to take Part 1 of the national Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) in England and Wales.
Our LLB is the most popular law degree in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, so it's fully recognised by The Bar Standards Board in England and Wales and the Council of Legal Education (Northern Ireland). You'll have the option to tailor your degree toward becoming an academic, a barrister or a solicitor.
