Entry requirements for this course

be working within or have access to a social care agency, for example, through paid employment or voluntary work -
organise and complete a minimum of 10 days of verified practice learning in a social care setting -
this should ideally involve shadowing a qualified social worker -
the practice experience must be verified and may require you to obtain and pay for a Disclosure Scotland check -
if you already work in a social care setting, your employer may be able to help arrange this, but they are not obliged to do so
