Accessibility statementHalf of this module’s study materials are online. Online materials are composed of pages of text with images, short audio and video clips, and interactive media. Online materials also include links to online forums and online tutorial rooms. The remaining half is contained in the printed readings for each block.
This module provides a number of learning events delivered as a series of online tutorials. Although not compulsory, participating in the online tutorials will help you consolidate your learning.
You will be required to work with other students in online forums. Your participation in these forums is assessed. This includes looking at and commenting on others’ work and reflecting on others’ comments on your work.
The study materials contain some diagrams and interactive media; descriptions are provided.
You will be required to search for, and make use of, third-party material online in a limited number of activities – this forms the basis of one assignment in the module. Alternatives for this material can be provided to enable you to meet the Learning Outcomes of the module.
This module has five tutor-marked assignments and an end-of-module assessment.
You will receive feedback from your tutor on your submitted tutor-marked assignments. This will help you to reflect on your TMA performance. You should refer to it to help you prepare for your next assignment.
All University modules are structured according to a set timetable and you will need time-management skills to keep your studies on track. You will be supported in developing these skills.
