a CV/resume outlining your most relevant qualifications, professional experience, and any prior research experience -
copies of your degree certificates (including translations if not in English) -
proof of English language competency (see International research student applications for further details) -
equality monitoring information, although this information is anonymous and does not form part of the selection process.

how effectively you demonstrate your ability to communicate in English -
the extent to which your proposed research draws on your own professional expertise and context -
the extent to which you demonstrate the professional and practical relevance of your proposed research -
the extent to which you demonstrate awareness of the research process -
how effectively you demonstrate your potential for study at doctorate level.
