The Centre for Social and Sustainable Enterprise (SSE) addresses the connections between entrepreneurial activity, innovation and the transition towards environmentally and socially sustainable ways of doing business.

Its research, scholarship and engagement activities are oriented around several related research specialisms, including: social and environmental practice in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs); distinctive forms of enterprise, including:

Minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree (or equivalent). If you are not a UK citizen, you may need to prove your knowledge of English.

Members of CSSE and other researchers in the Faculty may have relevant research expertise to supervise a self-funded research project.
