The Philosophy discipline welcomes application for graduate work on philosophy of language and conceptual engineering. The discipline has interests in questions such as:

Research and research students are at the heart of the discipline. In joining us, you would join a lively and friendly graduate community. The discipline hosts papers by visiting speakers throughout the year, and an annual graduate conference at which students give papers on their work in progress.

Minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree (or equivalent). Most successful applicants to the research degree programme have an MA in Philosophy (or equivalent). If you are not a UK citizen, you may need to prove your knowledge of English.
