BSc (Honours) Nursing

Course code: R39

Studying with the OU is the perfect way to realise your ambition of becoming a nurse, whether you're already in a healthcare role or considering the profession for the first time. You’ll study four fields of nursing before choosing to specialise in one: Adult, Children and Young People, Learning Disabilities, or Mental Health. If you already work in healthcare and have employer support, you can balance study with your role. For those new to healthcare in England, pathways are available through partnerships with NHS trusts such as Oxford University Hospitals and Torbay and South Devon Hospitals. Upon successfully completing your degree, you'll become eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a qualified nurse.
