Research in this area explores conceptual and practical issues at the intersection of environmental concerns, politics and justice. Research is designed to connect and extend members’ work on issues as: energy transition; financialisation and the political economy of resources; political ecology; urban nature; critiques of forestry governance; and ethical challenges associated with astrobiology. Researchers across Geography and Environmental Studies have generated collective work questioning neoliberal environmental governance, with researchers actively engaging publics through their work on widening environmental understandings.
Minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree (or equivalent). If you are not a UK citizen, you may need to prove your knowledge of English.
